Today on 9-11, let us move forward in our thinking to a place where our consciousness becomes expanded to consider employing the "science of peace" as a vehicle to create genuine world peace. The video below is a brief discussion between film-maker, John Lynch and Dr. John Hagelin, quantum physicist, on how applying understanding the science of consciousness or the 'unified field' to elavate ourselves toward world peace. Please take a moment and view this powerful video.
"The problem with humanity is that it's not in its right mind." ~Gandhi
Gandhi, the great Indian leader and world change agent knew that in order for true change to occur a change in fundamental consciousness was necessary.
Einstein cautioned us that, "The significant problems we face cannot be resolved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them." In order to change from a planet where we move from war to war and conflict to conflict we need to consider developing a new consciousness; a new way of thinking about how we co-relate with each other.
Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes shared his profound awareness with us all when he proclaimed; "The great thing in this world is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving.
In order for our world to replace conflict-orientation as a solution to our differences and replace that mental model with one that is peace-oriented; a shift in consciousness must occur.
What is consciousness, one might ask? Professor Ashok Sharma, a former professor of Applied Physics, and a scientist at Harvard University, postulates that "consciousness is a non-physical entity, which is essentially different from the four basic entities of space, time, energy and matter of the conventional science. Consciousness does not have any physical attribute or property or action, but is endowed with autonomous will power of creation, retention and annihilation of the knowledge of an individual or that of the universe."

As Dr. John Hagelin, a quantum physicist, educator, public policy expert, and one of the world’s leading thinkers on the subject of peace explains consciousness; "when we contact this unified field of being, we enliven that unity, that harmony, and that coherence in the collective consciousness of society. And by doing so, everybody seems to flow more harmoniously together."
So, fellow journeyers, my gift to you on this 9/11 rememberence day is the gift of peace; a gift we can share with those who matter to us through our expanded consciousness. Our collective gift to our beautiful planet and all the souls residing here.
Go In Peace,
Dave
