Inner-Space, Our Final Frontier as Human Seekers-Part 1

"Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. It's five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before."
~from the original Star Trek series

Star Trek, the television series, opened up doorways for exploring outer space and seizing the imagination of generations of us that fueled our reaching out into the cosmos in search of new life and knowledge. As we now are on the cusp of a grand new paradigm we are seeking greater illumination as to the nature of nature and of us, as individuals and as people of Earth.

Our quest must now move in the direction of exploration of our 'inner-space' the cosmos within each of us.

Like the iceberg, most of what exists within our inner-space lies below the surface and seekers within this space benefit from using specific tools and techniques of exploring. However, prior to that discussion, let's briefly explore the nature of this 'inner-space'.

"We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light."  ~Mary Dunbar

My friends, in my view of what is and what is emerging I see an individual and collective search for meaning, freedom, community, unconditional-love, prosperity, empowerment, and peace.

I see clearly that the path to those alignments becomes enhanced through an introspective inner-space voyager experience. By now in this post, you must be wondering; what in heaven's sake is an "introspective inner-space voyager" experience anyway and how is this important to me?

No, it's not a ride on an intergalactic hyper-drive space craft. Though it certainly is a voyage of discovery into uncharted territory.

"A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within."  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

We, as an Earth culture, have speculated and postulated on our inner-light and it's worth for quite some time.  Early Mystery Schools taught their students ways to go within and access the light as a transformational method.

Today we have religious leaders, guru's, social-movement leaders and others sharing their light and pointing out the path for us.

Now, my question for you is; "do I want to continue to give away my personal power of choice to another or is it better for me to learn to be my own life- leader?"

How you answer this question for yourself will make all the difference for you; in your life!

Some Thoughts on Personal Empowerment - let's Reflect

“If only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.”
~ Fred Rogers
“Every individual has a place to fill in the world, and is important, in some respect, whether he chooses to be so or not.”
~ Nathaniel Hawthorne
“Trust yourself, then you will know how to live.”
~Johann Wolfgang Van Goethe
"Someone’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.”
~ Les Brown
"Most powerful is he who has himself in his own power."
~Seneca

"When you follow your bliss doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else."
~Joseph Campbell

"The two things I did learn were that you are as powerful and strong as you allow yourself to be, and that the most difficult part of any endeavor is taking the first step, making the first decision."
~Robyn Davidson

Now let's consider potential insight into what defines personal empowerment; what will we discover as we contemplate the thoughts above?  What personal insights are you experiencing and how might they incite you to take action toward personal empowerment?  Please feel free to share your thoughts as comments you add to this post.  We all grow through the sharing and dialog.
